| No idea what the temp is at but the lack of tubers is pretty sweet. As long as the air temp stays decent I don't mind the cool water.

Yea, I tried to get out this last weekend it was almost "hot"- but is really really windy...
The lack of Pon-Tubers is amazing!

Went waterskiing on Long Lake this past weekend. When the wind was down, we had some nice runs. Water temp wasn't too bad. My 3/2 wetsuit worked perfect. Attached is a picture of one of the guys from last Friday. He wears glasses when he ski's, but lost his "good" pair on a wipeout earlier this summer. He found this old pair of glasses, taped them up, put a string with a key chain float around the back and off he went. I couldn't resist sneaking a quick picture. We hope to get out again this weekend.

| We were out on Owasso this Saturday (10/6) and the water was still pretty warm. I rode in a neo top which was more than enough for the temp. Todays rain will probobally cool it down a bit but then again it is October.

| Went skiing on Friday, October 12 at 4:00 PM. According to the truck, it was 48 degrees when we dropped the boat into the water. Other than two sets of fisherman, we had the lake to ourselves. My buddy and I each had two great sets. As you can see from the picture, the water was perfect. As far as the temperature out on the lake, I was very comfortable in my wetsuit that I recently purchased at Midwest Mastercraft. However, I was glad to put on the old stocking cap between runs. Since there was only two of us, we couldn't take any action shots of the skiing, but it was a great day on the water. Attachment: skiing 10-12-07.jpg (Downloaded 74 times)

BG is a character. He skied here at the Pro Tour's back in the mid 90's and was always flurting with the ladies. It gives a guy hope to see a man in his 80's (then) and 90's (now) barefooting and chasing cougars!
I hope that when I reach that age I am in good enough shape to leave my walker on shore and throw a leg over the gunnel of a boat by myself, much less barefoot and chase cougars!
Dare to dream.

My buddy and I took advantage of the near 70 degree weather yesterday and got in two sets each right before dark. The water was pretty darn cold. It felt like a cold drink of water. A tad brisk on the toes. The lake was all ours with only a very slight ripple from the wind. We skiied in the bay by the highway so all of the commuters stuck in traffic could see us out there having fun.

WOW - PFG I am jealous. I think that I am starting to get cabin sickness already... JK We had some guys from the U of M wake team come by last night that took their last sets... They said that it was not even worth it at that point in a wetsuit.
PS - I would have been more than mad if I was driving home and saw you guys out there.

| I got to drive an X-30 across Prior Lake yesterday, no riding just a leisurly cruise to the launch but it felt good to be out on the water in spite of the artic temps.
