So with talk of INT comming back to MN area some thoughts come to mind.
I have competed in several "action" sports where competition is not the norm. But never wakeboarding. How is it?
Have you guys ever ridden in comps before? What does one expect going out for the first time?

I expected to forget my run so I had to write it on my hand. I also expected to choke on an easy trick so I threw all my big moves first (note, this is not a good way to win EVER)
All in all I had a ton of fun, made the podium a couple of times and met tons of cool people.

| I have never competed in wakeboarding, but I would think that there is a whole lot that you have to account for like speed, wind, water condition and what move you have to pull off to score well. So what do you think about before you hit the water to shred?

| You should think about landing all your tricks because falls don't count for anything, that and having fun. I used to see guys get all upset because they had a bad run. I mean sure everyone wants to win but if you can't have a good time you have no business being there.

I think I rode advanced, not really that I was good enough to ride advanced but if it all came together and I got on the podium it would have been sweet.
The old levels werent quite the same as the new ones, I think there only used be 4 levels and the dudes in outlaw killed it. Even back in the day there was some sick riding.

I used to race BMX! RAD I know Was pretty fun til my bike was stolen at drivers Ed!
Have yet to do wakeboarding, but before I got the MC I always wondered how bad I would ride behind a tow boat. ( Was riding behind a glastron, then a Larson)
Every time I would get the opportunity my buds and I overdid it and it was tough to be consistent.
Wakes are 2 different...I/O irect, or V Drive.
